Director of Hockey
A dedicated youth sports advocate and coach who is working to expand access to hockey in emerging communities, combining his lifelong passion for athletics with a commitment to developing young athletes and building stronger local programs for families.
Steve is a passionate advocate for growing the game of hockey in emerging communities, with a focus on expanding opportunities for youth athletes.
Originally from Manchester, New Hampshire (just outside of Boston), Steve was introduced to hockey at a young age. Alongside hockey, he played football and baseball, building a lifelong appreciation for athletics, competition, and teamwork.
In 2009, Steve relocated to Texas, where he has since built both his career and family. He currently works in Fort Worth as a NERC Compliance Manager and lives in Aledo, bringing a strong background in leadership, organization, and program execution to everything he does.
Steve has been actively involved in youth sports as both a coach and assistant coach in hockey, flag football, and baseball. He is committed to developing young athletes not just in skill, but in confidence, character, and love for the game. Known for his hands-on approach and ability to connect with both players and parents, Steve focuses on building strong community relationships alongside athletic development.
He believes it’s time to expand the reach of hockey into new communities and add it to the strong tradition of youth sports. He is especially focused on developing local programs that give kids the opportunity to train and improve their skills close to home, without the burden of traveling over an hour each way to access ice time.
That vision became personal when his son, born in 2015, began playing hockey two years ago and quickly fell in love with the game. Seeing that passion firsthand reignited Steve’s own connection to hockey and inspired him to help create opportunities for other families.
His mission is to introduce hockey to new players, build sustainable programs, and give kids the opportunity to discover a game that can shape their lives.
